After numerous requests for my art in print, I have finally decided to start selling some of my pictures in full-color, print format. All prints will be on high-quality, 100% acid-free paper with a matted finish. The following sizes are given in inches and will include, depending if the originals are horizontal, vertical or square pictures: 18"w x 12"h, 12"w x 18"h and 12"w x 12"h

I am starting with 'The Adorable Teddies' Series 1, which includes five pictures of Teddies in "real life" situations:

  • Country (country kitchen with a view)
  • Western (cowboy in his western/native american decorated room)
  • Dollhouse (incl. music-room, master-bedroom, child's bedroom, kitchen)
  • House (incl. bathroom, sewing room, patio and office)
  • Outing (teddy kids visit the beach/ocean)
These pictures are all originals and have never been released to the public (except, 'Outing'). Pictures are available for purchase as a set (with discount) or as individual(s). The release date for these prints is estimated to be around the 21st of March, 2001.

Stationery & Tutorials:

The following sites display large selections of Stationery sets and a program that you may find helpful if you are thinking about creating your own Stationery:

  • Stationery Heaven offers Stationery sets for Outlook and Outlook Express users in 48 categories and additional sub-categories. These include, but are not limited to Native American, Country (really liked that section... nice work here), Holidays (with several sub-categories), SciFi, Western (great looking too), Grandparents, Lighthouses, Occupational, Cars, and Military, just to name a few. Great selections and nice looking work offered in 3 formats each (exe, zip and eml).

  • Zudsy's Place is not a very big site, but still well worth a visit. She offers some very nice and original animations, animated fonts (the train is something else *smile), 12 sets of Stationery created with a program called 'Lisa' (see link below) for Outlook Express 5.x users only, her original clipart and her very cute dolls collection.

  • Lisa-Your Personal Mail & Web Assistant comes in two flavors... the full version ($30.- to purchase) and the free edition called 'Little Lisa' (not all features included as in the full version). This program works only in combination with Outlook Express 5.0 or above. No previous knowledge of HTML and Java is required to create your own stationery and/or homepage. This program also includes various other features, depending on what version you downloaded, a Reminder, Calendar, Agenda, QuickHTML-Maker, etc.

If you decide you would like to try the 'Lisa' or 'Little Lisa' program, I would also suggest that you make sure to visit these two tutorial sites called Lisa Tutorial for Registered users (or for advanced users) or the Little Lisa Tutorials for the freeware version users and/or beginners.

Alemannia Design offers one of the largest collections of 'Diddle' Virtual Greeting Cards I have seen so far. Diddle is a very popular comic mouse with huge feet and the Germans consider him their version of Mickey Mouse. Alemannia also offers a small collection of free PSP Tubes (some are of her hand-drawn art), Digital Oil painting gallery, Hotbar Skins, and free background graphics (borders and tiles).

HTML Editors, & Java Scripts:

People have been inquiring about what programs to use to make their own Stationery, Homepages, and where to find free Java Scripts. The following sites and programs will help you with your quest for your own homepage and/or Stationery, which are no more than a HTML file with pictures, sound and Java Scripts for effect(s).

  • AceHTML 4, formerly known as Ace Expert is a Freeware HTML editor for anyone on a small budget. *smile* The program offers many features like, 60 ready-to-use Java Scripts, 40 pre-defined DHTML (Dynamic Hyper Text Markup Language) scripts, wizards for frames, tables and forms, integrated Style Sheet Editor, RTF (Rich Text Format) File Converter, and extensive Help files, just to name a few. There are many more features, but too many to list here. I personally think it is one of the best HTML Editors out there... use it myself sometimes for the Scripts.

  • Script Worx is another beefed up HTML Editor (Freeware) that also includes a full featured Style Sheet Editor (used to pre-define style & colors of fonts in HTML). This program is for advanced users who will appreciate the numerous wizards for inserting ActiveX, Sound, Shockwave, Flash Animation, etc. Also includes Cold Fusion Builder, Content Wizard, Download Timer, Document Analyzer, and many more features.

  • Web-O-Rama is a Donation Ware (no set price but you send what you can) text HTML Editor. Program features include adding images, tables, links, lists, sounds, forms, scrolling text, hex values, special characters, frames, body and font attributes, a Tag List, Templates, drop-down menus, multiple toolbars, tag coloring, and user-configurable buttons aid both beginner and advanced HTML authors. Files of any size can be opened, edited, searched, and saved.

  • Web Dwarf is a one of the better WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) HTML Editors, and it is Freeware. What I mean by better is, that you will also be able to copy and paste HTML code without the program taking over the tags (MS Front Page is notorious for this). Anyway, this program features drag 'n drop with pixel-level positioning; alignment toolbar with group control, layout guide with a snap-to-grid option; a text editor for HTML, rich text (RTF) and ASCII text; and an FTP publisher. A good program for beginners without any HTML knowledge, though I would suggest to eventually switch to any of the others programs and learn HTML. *smile*

Java Stuff:

  • AAScripter v1.8 is a very useful program that contains more than 200 Java Scripts that are very useful to webmasters. With this neat program there is no need to search the Internet for cool scripts that will allow you to display text in the Status Bar, display a pop-up menu, or open a new window, etc. Just search for scripts from within the program, copy-and-paste the code into your HTML file, view a demo page, and read detailed information and instructions about each script. This program also includes a separate help section and best of all... it is Freeware. *smile*

  • If you are still looking for more Java Scripts, Java Applets and/or Java Tutorials, try these sites: Nic's Java Scripts Page, Dynamic Drive and/or Website Abstraction.

On the Lighter Side of Life -:)

The following joke was submitted by Clyde. The joke is not very long but cute... hope you enjoy it. *smile*

The smart Dog

A dog walks into a butcher shop with a purse strapped around his neck. He walks up to the meat case and calmly sits there until it's his turn to be waited on.

A man, who was already in the butcher shop, finished his purchase and noticed the dog. The butcher leaned over the counter and asked the dog what it wanted today. The dog put its paw on the glass case in front of the ground beef, and the butcher said, "How many pounds?" The dog barked twice, so the butcher made a package of two pounds ground beef. He then said, "Anything else?" The dog pointed to the pork chops, and the butcher said, "How many?" The dog barked four times, and the butcher made up a package of four pork chops.

The dog then walked around behind the counter, so the butcher could get at the purse. The butcher took out the appropriate amount of money and tied two packages of meat around the dog's neck.

The man, who had been watching all of this, decided to follow the dog. It walked for several blocks and then walked up to a house where it began to scratch the door to be let in. As the owner opened the door, the man said to the owner, "That's a really smart dog you have there."

The owner said, "He's not really all that smart. This is the second time this week he forgot his key."
